Greetings! Having recently moved from DC to Philly, I think I’ve finally become settled in my new city. So now I thought I’d start a little blog to keep my old friends and new ones up to speed with the happenings in my life. So…a bit about me. I am a Dominatrix. It was quite an adjustment, leaving DC and all my great clients behind to go to a city where I really didn’t know anyone!! I have met new friends, new clients and still do travel to DC and NYC to visit with old friends.
I love what I do….that’s why I do it. Many people assume that everyone is the ’sex industry’ (and even though I (and most Dommes) do not have sex with their clients or even get naked during a session – we are lumped in to the ’sex worker’ category)…ahh but I digress….people assume that one gets in this business because “wow, you must really hate men!!”…..the answer is no, absolutely not. I enjoy men a great deal. I happen to feel that women are superior to men and I enjoy the rush that I get when a man is at my feet. Then there’s the “you just do it for the money”….not at all, although it is a nice way to make a living if being a Domme is your cuppa tea. I think anytime you do things you don’t want to do strictly for money, you’re selling yourself out and you’ve got to lose a bit of yourself everyday you compromise yourself. I also hear “you seem very normal”…..why thank you. I am quite a normal, everyday person. I have a wicked sense of humor, I am smart, I go to the grocery store like everyone else. I’m friendly and, while I am ‘the boss’ during our sessions, I truly do enjoy the connection that is formed between Mistress and sub/slave. I have clients that I have known for years and consider friends. I believe they feel the same way about me. I think the more time you spend with someone – even if it’s an hour every week – you get to know them more, you get more comfortable (and vice versa), you find out exactly what makes them tick and are able to push those limits and help them release the fetish/fantasy that they’ve carried inside….maybe never spoken about or acted on before…..to me, when someone comes to me with a fetish or fantasy that they have been thinking of for years and years, and trusts me to help them explore it…to see that come to fruition is really a wonderful thing.
